| Community Home Repair is providing direct service to members of the community who are in need of urgent assistance. Because most of our work is done by volunteers, and because our office space, trucks and tools are also donated, we are able to provide a great deal of service with the resources that are available. Funds that we receive from individuals are used to purchase materials and hardware that we use to directly help an individual or family. Ten dollars can buy parts to repair a toilet. Sixty bucks buys a new motor for somebody's cooler. A hundred dollars can buy all of the materials to replace a broken water line. This is a great way to put a few dollars to work in the community to provide real relief to someone who is suffering through a home repair crisis. You shell out a few dollars to buy materials, and our workers take care of the rest. You can be certain that our funds get put to good use because every work day we are loading up trucks and heading out across Tucson and Pima County to work. We are on the ground, doing all we can with the resources that we have. Thank you for helping make this program possible.
